Nuj is an innovative alarm clock that introduces a unique concept to motivate you to rise and shine.

How it works:

Set an alarm time and a wake-up time.
Add a challenge, such as scanning a barcode, to confirm you are out of bed.
Establish a penalty.
If you fail to complete the challenge by the wake-up time, the penalty is enforced.

For instance:

Set an alarm for 7:00 a.m. with a wake-up time of 7:05 a.m.
Add the barcodes for toothpaste and shampoo.
Implement a $10 penalty.
The alarm triggers at 7:00 a.m.
Rise and scan the toothpaste barcode before 7:05 a.m., or forfeit $10 (donated to charity).
